Prices are in euros and already include VAT. Your chair ships from inside the EU, so there is no import duty or customs fee when it arrives.
Sending it back costs nothing

Two years of cover
Your chair is covered for 2 years, the same period as the EU legal guarantee. If anything goes wrong, write to hello@sederica.com.
What to expect from a replica
A replica copies the look of a famous design. Ours is built to the 1956 Eames design, but it is not made or licensed by Vitra, Herman Miller or the Eames family. Here is what that means for you.
- Price. You pay a small part of what a licensed chair costs. Our sets start from €619, with free delivery to Germany.
- How it arrives. Flat-packed, with every tool in the box. Most people assemble it in 20 to 30 minutes.
- Materials. Italian aniline leather, a layered wood veneer shell and a polished aluminium base.
- Resale. Buy it to use and enjoy every day, not as an investment. If you want a collector's piece to sell later, a licensed chair is the better choice.
What you get with our Eames-style lounge chair
Our chair follows the proportions of the 1956 original. The shell is made from layers of wood veneer, which helps stop it cracking or warping. The cushions are covered in soft Italian aniline leather. Aniline means the leather is dyed right through, with no painted coating on top, so it feels natural and gains character as you use it.
Rubber shock mounts join the shell pieces, so the back gives a little as you lean into it. The chair turns a full circle on a polished aluminium base, and the ottoman comes with it.
For exact sizes and every leather and wood option, see the full lounge chair collection.

Delivery to Germany: what to expect
DPD brings your chair in 4 to 5 days, free of charge.
The chair and ottoman arrive flat-packed. Most people put them together in 20 to 30 minutes, and every tool you need is in the box. Ask a second person to help, because some parts are large and easier to hold from both sides.
Each product page links to a step-by-step assembly guide with a parts list and diagrams. You can read it before your chair arrives or download it as a PDF.

Is the Eames lounge chair a Bauhaus design?
Many people in Germany place this chair alongside Bauhaus furniture, but it is not a Bauhaus design. The Bauhaus was a German school, founded in Weimar in 1919 and closed in 1933. Charles and Ray Eames were American designers, and they made the lounge chair more than twenty years later.
The link is in the thinking. Like the best Bauhaus pieces, the Eames chair shows how it is built. You can see the wood, the leather and the metal, and nothing is hidden. That honesty is a big reason it still looks modern today.

Many customers place a small table beside their lounge chair for a book or a cup of coffee. Our Eileen Gray adjustable side table replica is height-adjustable, so it slides over the chair's armrest.
