The shell is a seven-layer moulded plywood, finished with a real wood veneer in walnut, rosewood, or ebony ash, on both sides, with no unfinished surfaces. The cushions are top-grain Italian aniline leather, hand-sewn, welted and piped. This is the kind of leather that ages beautifully and tells its own story over the years.

Underneath, a polished die-cast aluminium base holds everything steady, with a smooth 360-degree swivel and shock mounts hidden inside for that deep, easy recline.

No. Every chair in this collection is a high-quality reproduction inspired by the mid-century design. We make our own furniture, and we are not connected to, endorsed by, or working with the original designers or licensed makers. We use the Eames name only to describe the style you are looking at.

Is the ottoman included?

Yes. Every chair in this collection comes with its matching ottoman as standard. We never charge extra for it.

What are the dimensions?

How much assembly is needed?
