The Sederica Eames replica office chair tan brown keeps the low-back shape of the original, with a ribbed leather seat and back over a polished chrome aluminium frame. The slim arms and a five-star base pair perfectly with this elegant office design.
The Italian aniline leather in a warm tan makes it a perfect option to use in any interior. Despite being an office chair, users can put it in other spaces of their home or workplace. That’s why this Eames office chair tan leather replica is so different from other options in the market.
Leather, Foam, & Frame on this Eames-Style Ribbed Office Chair
The aniline leather is completely dyed. So, you’ll feel that the texture is very soft. This leather marks more easily than coated hide. The whole texture will remain cozy for years if cared for properly.
The foam used in the ribs is fire-resistant. It’s quite firm and springs back almost instantly. That’s why the shape stays perfect, no matter how long you’ve been sitting in the chair.
Most importantly, both arms, spine, and the base are made of polished chrome aluminium that can take everyday use without breaking down. You can tilt, swivel, and adjust the height any way you want.
Where the Eames EA117 office chair came from
This elegant Eames office chair was originally garden furniture. In 1957, Alexander Girard got an exotic type of outdoor chair from his friends Charles and Ray Eames. Soon after, the design became popular mostly in Europe, and people started using the model indoors.
Why a tan brown Eames office chair suits European homes
The style of leather over polished metal goes perfectly with European interiors. Marcel Breuer was bending steel tube into chairs at the Bauhaus in 1925, and Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona chair followed in 1929. This chair belongs to the same family, which is why it sits so comfortably next to a Barcelona-style lounge chair.
Alongside, the tan colour blends well with most wall colours. Normally, it would look good on pale oak floors and add warmth to white plaster walls. Regular black office chairs won’t be able to blend like this model.
And the low back helps more than you’d expect. Plenty of flats in cities like Berlin or Amsterdam have no separate study, so the desk ends up in the living room or by the bedroom window. A tall executive chair takes over a room like that. This one is under a metre tall and slides under the desk at night.
